Operational Technology | IT Systems

At Hepburn Group we operate fully integrated systems linking project data and our internal and field IT systems for delivering various project information and progress reporting to our clients. We utilise the latest technologies encompassing mobile technology, robust back-office database systems, coupled with our client web portal interface.


E-Gas Database Systems

We operate a fully comprehensive E-Gas system which has been constantly upgraded and developed over the years and currently fully embraces the latest technologies available to us.

Our systems have been developed to enhance the interactive offering to our clients including the provision to supply ‘all’ gas certification documents in an electronic format. All our field operatives receive and log job visit information via handheld computers. Job information is sent and received by field engineers and then returned electronically. Our operational setup is such that we move job information on a real-time basis.


Client Web Portal Facility & Contract Service Delivery

Our systems enable our administration staff and management to monitor outstanding service and repair job information at a glance. Our database systems are being constantly developed to enable us to report on all aspects of contract information. We have the capability to easily export and forward service schedules to clients in hard copy or via email in an Excel format. We can also report on job visit information or produce KPI information reports very easily.

We have developed a web portal facility which allows our clients to securely view various aspects of our contract work which we are delivering on their behalf. We feel that this offering is of huge benefit to our clients and shows our willingness and commitment to offering real-time, transparent contract information. Our database system information is synchronised with our online client web portal.

Our web portal facility also allows our clients to submit responsive maintenance call-out requests electronically. One of our existing clients already has a direct link to our web portal system through their own in-house CRM system. KPI Reporting

Our IT systems enable us to easily report on all aspects of contract work and we currently provide our clients with relevant KPI visit information relating to this work. We are very flexible with regards to providing contract update information and are open to constructive, collaborative working practices that would ensure that the information being provided by us is accurate, concise, and in the format that is required.

As well as reporting on and evaluating specific KPI’s we are able to supply our clients with full detailed job listing reports for all engineer visits made to properties.


Future System Development

We have an on-going programme of system development and continue to enhance and upgrade our interactive offering to meet our clients’ requirements and to aid us in continuously improving our services.
